Baltic Summer School 2017 in Latvia

Andragogues from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania participated in the Baltic Summer School 2017 that took action is Aizkraukle, Latvia. Main topic of this Summer School was “Informal methods of teaching of adults, learning Baltic languages together”. This event was organized by Latvian Association of Adult Education. Members of the Lithuanian Association for Adult Education represented Lithuania (LAAE) in this meeting. Center of Excellence of Healthcare and Pharmacy Specialists is the member of LAAE since 2011.


Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Public Relations Loreta Gudelienė-Gudelvičienė and Competency Development Department specialists Karolina Rastenytė and Agnė Arlauskaitė participate in Summer School. Participants from Lithuania guided training classes in regular breathing and relaxing, taught to count in Lithuanian. Loreta Gudelienė-Gudelvičienė presented ERASMUS+ project “Development of andragogues’ skills improves training quality”. Discussion concerning quality criteria for the Eorpean Quality Mark also took place.


Experience of the Center of Competence in the field of informal education will be discussed during next Summer Schools (in 2018 in Estonia or in 2019 in Lithuania).
